Message from the Pastor

Welcome to the St. Paul Parish website. St. Paul Parish has been serving the Princeton Catholic community in Princeton since 1847 in response to the many Catholic immigrants who settled in Princeton.

Today, St. Paul Parish continues in its great tradition of Catholic Faith, Catholic Ministry and Catholic Education. St. Paul Parish is a welcoming community who come together to share in the Sunday Eucharist, and I extend a warm invitation to you to join us at a Sunday Mass. I also invite you to peruse the Ministry link to see the wonderful ministry work being done by the Parish and to consider becoming a participant. If you are a parent of young children, please link to the St. Paul School site and take a tour of the elementary school, now celebrating its 125th anniversary.

In November 2002, St. Paul Parish began a partnership with Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Nakasongola as a result of the “twinning” effort between the Diocese of Trenton and the Kasana-Luweero Diocese in Uganda, Africa. St. Paul Parish is committed to the “twinning” partnership between the two parishes and is hoping to grow the partnership into a ministry.

St. Paul Parish holds several parishioners gatherings, such as the New Parishioner Receptions, the Parish Picnic and the Volunteer Reception. As a new member of St. Paul Parish, there are many venues to meet other people of our faith. We also have a strong RCIA process for those who want to convert to Catholicism.

As Pastor of St. Paul Parish, I am committed to the spiritual growth of the parish and in serving the Catholic population of this community and welcome you to become a part of a truly wonderful parish community.

With God’s Blessings,
Monsignor Walter E. Nolan
Pastor
St. Paul Parish
