Boys' 4th Grade Basketball

Coaches Jim Lentini and Assistant Coaches Michael Case and Raymond Merendino filed this report on the St. Paul's 4th Grade Boys' Basketball 2005-2006 season results.

A team of 4th graders including Angelo Abis, Jonathan Biletta, James Case, Michael Clancy, John Endres, Peter Kalibat, Ibrahim Kamara, Luke Lentini, Thomas Martin, Patrick Mariboe, Mark Maslanka, Raymond Merendino, Jack O’Connell, and Joel Serrano competed in the St. Raphael Freshman League this season.

Playing in the “A” division with teams that had both 4th and 5th graders, our 4th grade guys took 4th place in a six-team division with a regular season record of 4 wins and 11 losses. In the playoffs, the team won the first game, eliminating the St. Raphael “B” squad, before losing to the first-place (and eventual champion) St. Raphael Gold team. The team also played in a Christmas tournament at Our Lady of Sorrows and in a post-season tournament in Spotswood New Jersey, winning first-round games in each competition.
