Girls' Varsity Basketball

The St. Paul’s 4th grade girls participated in the inaugural season of the CYO Freshman league. Team members were Abigail Buckley, Meg Dalrymple, Alexa Fares, Courtney Hess, Caroline Keimig, Courtney King, Emily Okupski, Abigail Pitarresi, Alexandra Rego, Lauren Roberto, Caroline Scott, and Catie Toomey. The team was coached by Malcolm Dalrymple, Brian Okupski, Sean Toomey, and Michelle King.

Throughout the 10 game season, the girls learned individual skills, team concepts, and to play in a friendly, yet competitive environment. Highlights of the season were the success in forming a close-knit team with full participation by all team members and a last second victory versus Incarnation School. The girls were active off the court as well, participating in a food drive for Catholic Charities. The girls hope to build on their success and look forward to their 5th grade season next year.
